Based in Lund, Swedish company Jolife develops, manufactures, and markets a chest compression system, Lucas, including accessories. Lucas is a machine which provides heart and lung massage to cardiac arrest patients, for example. Lucas assists those administering first aid – primarily paramedics, nurses, and doctors – by providing cardiac arrest patients with continuous, high quality compressions, without interruption.
AMB injection moulds different plastic components to the battery which powers the compression unit. We then assemble the plastic parts with different externally purchased components, resulting in a completed, quality-assured unit.

Another Lund based partner is Gambro, manufacturers of dialysis machines. So-called haemodialysis, in which blood purification takes place outside the body, is the most common method of dialysis treatment administered to those with severely impaired kidney function. The blood is pumped through the dialysis machine, where it is purified from waste products and extraneous fluid.
AMB handles the injection moulding and assembly of the blood pumping rotor, filter-holder, and heparin pump used in Gambro’s dialysis machines AK 200 S and AK 96.
