EMC shielding by metallisation

In today's high-technology society we are surrounded by electronic devices, all of which constitute a potential source of disturbance. Nowadays, there are requirements prohibiting electronic equipment from causing disturbances to other systems through electromagnetic interference (EMI). AMB routinely applies shielding to plastic components, preventing the emission of electromagnetic radiation. This method which is both cost-effective and safe is known as vacuum metallisation.

At AMB, we coat your components with a metal layer, which provides effective shielding. Typically, we use aluminium, although other metals may also be used. This method also works excellently for more complicated parts requiring partial coating. AMB has considerable experience working with vacuum metallisation, and with a proven logistics management system, we have the capacity to handle large orders on deadline.
